About our Program

This Coppell Crime Stoppers Program allows citizens to provide anonymous tips in order to help local law enforcement solve crimes. Tipsters could receive a monetary reward ranging from $10 - $1,000 if the tip proves instrumental in solving the crime. This Crime Stoppers Program promotes community pride and responsibility and allows the public to take action against victimization and crime in their own community. The success of the program often depends directly upon the support of the community. The more encouragement and publicity the program receives, the more successful the program will be.

Coppell Crime Stoppers is responsible for handling the Crime Stoppers hotline and website, providing monthly statistical reports upon request, assisting with advertising campaigns, program oversight, and authorization and payment of rewards. Coppell Crime Stoppers is the only agency to disperse the reward funds.

Mission Statement

Coppell Crime Stoppers (CCS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Daily operations are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and law enforcement liaisons committed to supporting our program. The Crime Stoppers Program is funded by private donations and annual fundraising from concerned citizens and local businesses.

Our mission is to provide citizens a trusted place to give anonymous tips and information by phone, text message or website pertaining to any illegal activities within the city, thereby making the community a safer place for all who live and work in Coppell. CCS believes in the principle that “someone other than the criminal has information that can solve a crime.” CCS offers secure, cash rewards for validated tips that prevent a crime or lead to the arrest for an illegal activity. The reward amount is decided by the CCS Board of Directors, and all tips are confidential and protected by law in the State of Texas.
