About our Program
This Coppell Crime Stoppers Program allows citizens to provide anonymous tips in order to help local law enforcement solve crimes. Tipsters could receive a monetary reward ranging from $10 - $1,000 if the tip proves instrumental in solving the crime. This Crime Stoppers Program promotes community pride and responsibility and allows the public to take action against victimization and crime in their own community. The success of the program often depends directly upon the support of the community. The more encouragement and publicity the program receives, the more successful the program will be.
Coppell Crime Stoppers is responsible for handling the Crime Stoppers hotline and Web site, providing monthly statistical reports upon request, assisting with advertising campaigns, program oversight, and authorization and payment of rewards. Coppell Crime Stoppers is the only agency to disperse the reward funds.
Coppell Crime Stoppers (CCS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Daily operations are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and law enforcement liaisons committed to supporting our program. The Crime Stoppers Program is funded by private donations and annual fundraising from concerned citizens and local businesses
